Positive Change in the UK Regarding Bringing Your Pet To & From UK

GREAT NEWS! Relocating or bringing your to and from UK will be a lot easier now that DEFRA has announced a new rule that owners will not have to have their pet(s) blood tested and the waiting period changed from 6-months to 21 days after vaccination against rabies is done. This will not only save a lot of time, but it will save a lot of money and stress to both pet(s) and owner.

Having worked in an animal shelter in Spain, one of the reasons why dogs are abandoned is because many workers in Spain are given too short of a notice before having to head back to UK, leaving their pet(s) behind and at the shelter because of this problem. Now with this positive change, we'll see less abandoned pets and hopefully more happy endings!!
